Executive Advisory Sessions are focused, one-on-one conversations designed to support senior leaders and administrators navigating complex institutional decisions.
These sessions are structured engagements intended to help leaders clarify options, pressure-test assumptions, and move forward with greater confidence.
When Advisory Sessions Are Most Useful
Executive Advisory Sessions are often used to:
- Assess readiness for a new initiative or partnership
- Clarify institutional constraints, risks, and tradeoffs
- Sense-check strategy before committing resources
- Navigate cross-unit alignment, governance, or political dynamics
- Prepare for conversations with boards, funders, or senior leadership
How This Is Different from Community Office Hours
Community Office Hours are open, peer-based conversations focused on shared learning and perspective.
Executive Advisory Sessions are:
- Private and confidential
- Focused on a single institution or organization
- Centered on decision-making, not discussion
- Designed to support leaders with formal responsibility and authority
What to Expect
- 60- or 90-minute structured session
- Pre-session context questions to focus the conversation
- Direct, experience-informed perspective grounded in higher education realities
- No templates, slide decks, or deliverables
- No assumed follow-up work unless mutually agreed
If deeper engagement is appropriate, next steps are discussed separately.
Pricing
- Community Members: $300 per hour
- Non-Members: $400 per hour
Community membership is free and provides access to Office Hours, shared resources, and priority availability for Advisory Sessions.
Access & Stewardship
Ollin EDU sets aside a limited number of complimentary or reduced-rate Executive Advisory Sessions each year for leaders working in resource-constrained institutional contexts.
These requested sessions are offered on a case-by-case basis, based on availability, institutional context, and alignment with the mission of strengthening access and long-term impact in higher education.

- Resource-constrained community-based (CBO) or mission-driven organizations
Institutions with significant discretionary resources or large consulting budgets are generally not eligible.
Access requests are handled quietly and with discretion.
